We propose to participate to a nature workday organised by A Rocha in collaboration with Volontaire Montagne in the Alpage des Parchets in Pays d’en-Haut, near Rougemont. (Open the link to see the location )

We will be helping preserve a pasture by cutting and collecting small fir trees that are gradually taking over.

When ? Saturday, October 30th from 9am to 5pm approximately.

We will meet at 9am at Rougemont train station.
We will organise as much as possible a car share so please indicate on the sign up sheet how you plan to travel and if you can give someone a lift.
From the train station we will go closer to the site by car and then we have a 45 min walk to the pasture.
We will finish work around 4 pm and return to Rougemont station at 5 pm at the latest.

What to bring?
If you have garden gloves of your own, please bring them but we can also provide some
Snack breaks and a fondue for lunch will be provided .
Bring sufficient drinks and a heat resistant glass or cup.
Clothing adapted to the weather and the terrain (good shoes, long pants), gardening gloves if possible.
