Practical Care and Support Team
Providing practical assistance for members of our Church family
We all have times in our lives when we need a helping hand. Our practical care and support team connects All Saints members in need with members who can help. We can provide practical support with settling in, meals, visiting, lifts to appointments and shopping. Assistance is generally of a temporary nature to help through tough times but for older members this help may be more regular and longer-term. In this current Corona virus situation we are able to provide assistance to members who are self-isolating, in quarantine, recovering from the illness or are affected by the crisis. This support includes shopping, running errands and regular phone contact. If you find yourself in need of any other type of practical support not specifically mentioned here please do get in touch with us and we shall see what we can do to help.
How we can help
As the All Saints family covers a large area we are split into geographical zones, each one led by several coordinators based in the zone. The zones and the coordinators are show below. If you would like to receive support in the areas mentioned, or if you know of others who may be in need, you can contact one of your coordinators to request help. Alternatively you can contact Clive, the Church Office or the General coordinator who will be able to pass the message along. The coordinators will then try to find someone who will be able to help. Our response to the Covid-19 is more centralized so please contact Clive or the Church Office if you need support during this crisis.
How you can help
The scheme relies on volunteers to function and we really encourage members to sign up for the support they feel able to provide. If you would like to register your interest in helping us with this scheme please complete this volunteer form. If you would like to know more about how the scheme works please don’t hesitate to speak to any of the coordinators or Clive.
