Sermon Topic – Jesus – friend of sinners: Mark 2v13-22
Last week we looked at the story of Levi and the way he had to leave behind his old allegiances to follow Jesus. We all find ourselves pulled one way or another by the pressure and expectations of our peers, whether that is at school or amongst our colleagues or friendship groups. But for Levi when the true king came calling, he had to leave those old loyalties behind, and he found freedom.
