Sermon Topic – Psalm 46
In the midst of the change and turmoil of the world God speaks to each of us; ‘Be still, and know that I am God’.
He speaks to our anxious hearts and worried minds that we might find our peace and confidence in his presence, to choose to trust and in the quiet moments recognise that this world is not our home, we are pilgrims and sojourners but we have a heavenly city to which we journey, and to believe that he is working his purposes out, to bring about his peaceable kingdom despite and even through the turmoil.
